We started off with a lovely time of bowls, at Lionmede.Paul Watts their Captain welcomed us. After our refreshments after 9 ends of intended 18 ends due to the re start of the game after three more ends due to heavy rain Paul Watts the other Captain suggested we do 15 ends, which we agreed, well within a few minutes the decision was to abandon the game due to torrential rain which caused the green to become waterlogged, like mini duck ponds.
