Match Report - 08 Aug 2024, RHP (Chelmsford) Sports & Social Club Club Friendly lost to Dunmow
Today Thursday 8th Feb was a fabulous time sharing our time with the visiting Dunmow team.
Everything went well, even though for a while we had to wear our waterproof jackets , for fairly heavy drizzle, which we played through, and fairly heavy winds too, and it went away after a few minutes.
We had our break time after 9 ends, and we went in for tea and biscuits organised by HEATHER and Maureen number one players who came in after their bowl to get it sorted.
The same ladies, added by Janet Clayton to help clear away.
I wish to thank every one of my players for their amazing care to each other and me too.
At the end of the match we came in to carry out the results of the Football game, which went well.
I also handed out to Dave the Captain a small bottle of wine, and a nice pen.
i handed out a pen to the winning team to rink 12 Les skip, Leighton, Barbara.
