I wish to say a big thankyou for the players from RHP and Writtle, who made todays friendly match just a lovely time. From the beginning when Dave Pearson arrived and helped me put the equipment out to the end of the afternoon, everything went just smoothly. Dave ATTRIDGE kindly played instead of Lynne Bailey, he played an amazing game for me as no.1.
At the end of the afternoons match whose scores will be explained, i wish to say a big thankyou to Maureen Dunn, and Sue, and Gerry Smith after they had finished their rollup, asked if they could get on and make the tea and biscuits sorted, such kindness, they were given a pen each, as well as Ian Dunn who stood in for Vince as skip..
The scores of 63 to RHP , and 59 to WRITTLE were at risk of rain which fortunately after a few spots it was a dry game.....Tea and biscuits were provided, and afterwards gave Dave a small bottle of wine, and a pen and their President Jill Ellis...and of course my winning and losing teams given pens.
