Match Report - 23 Jun 2024, RHP (Chelmsford) Sports & Social Club Club Friendly beat Burnham
I wish to say that the time with Burnham team was a fantastic time together, played with friendly attitude throughout.
Gerry Smith with Andrea and Birgit were the winning team winning 26/7.
next was Norman Ewles with Lynne Bailey and Leighton winning 15/11.
Next was Alan Clay with Dave Stephens, and Heather Barrett. winning 14/9.
Lastly and losing was ;
Colin Reynolds with Janet Clayton and Sue Smith. losing 21/12.
We were winning for 10 ends, when Burnham got a 5 making it 5/5.
After that we only won two ends against their five ends. in which we got three , they got twelve.
Everyone did their best but John Wilson, and Sid Curtis suddenly got better lines.
After the game gifts were awarded to the winners, and to the Team leader Sid Curtis....Club Captain Christine Reynolds, and Club President Val Hyam.
My team that deal with all the refreshments also were awarded with a pen each.
Everyone took part into playing my football game too which was really appreciated.
