Match Report - 31 Jul 2025, RHP (Chelmsford) Bowls Club Club Friendly beat Lionmede Bowls Club
It Has been a lovely day of a friendly match. Their Captain Derek Brand said i absolutley love coming here its such a sense of love and friendliness, which to me speaks volumes of having them come to us, even though they can only provide 9 people due to the size of their members and commitments.
We had a good day, we had to sacrifice three players from our 12 to 9, to be able to accomodate them.
So very kindly Heather Barrett, Colin Abbott, and myself stepped down, but i attended to officiate and do the refreshments., and later giving out the prizes to the winners....which were Maureen Dunn, Alan Clay, and skip Gerry Smith with a score of 22/15. Second winning team 19/12 was Caz Carter, Vince Hoctor, Skip Steve Spearman. third team that lost with 14/16 to Lionmede ..was Sue Smith, Ian Dunn, skip Norman Ewles
