Match Report - 03 Aug 2023, RHP (Chelmsford) Bowls Club Club Friendly v Lionmede match cancelled

Due to receiving a message from Paul Watts , the Captain of Lionmede that they could only muster 6 players instead of 12 , i said i was sorry but i was not going to drop 6 of my players, so i cancelled the match.
They were very apologetic, and understood my reasons for cancelling it.
I subsequently notified the team.
Funny enough Thursday as a result of the match cancelled i marked the singles match for Lynne Bailey playing Norman Ewles, when a player from Lionmede arrived, not realising the game had been cancelled, so somehow he had not been notified.
