Todays match was a fabulous time playing against Chelmsford Bowls Club team.
From the beginning to end everything went like clockwork, which is purely down to great support from several people putting out the mats and bowls equipment, to collecting the money fees to laying out the tea and biscuits, to placing out the raffle pots with tickets on each table, ready for the raffle later.
The weather was fortunately dry but very cold, with the occasional wind chill.
It was six rinks and only one RHP team lost. The final score shown above was as a result of good play by all concerned.
So thankyou to all who have done so much to make this an excellent day, the first of outside matches to come., which we are looking forward.
