What a fantastic time we had at Writtle, even though there had been confusion about where the game was supposed to be, which was clarified as taking place at Writtle and NOT at RHP, as our system showed, it was to be at RHP..
in fact as a result of further enquiries made, they were and are now coming to us on Thursday 21st August.
Going back to the game in hand subject of this report, we won one on rink and lost on three others.
The winners were Skip Sue Corthine, Sue Smith, and lead Paul Morley..21/8.
Rink 2 losing 15/10...sk Colin Reynolds Alan Clay, Lead Heather Barratt. We basically were holding but got taken out by a young male bowler, whatever we did.
Rink 3Sk Dave Oxford, Colin Abbott, Caz Carter. losing 14/12, very close.
Rink 4 Sk Gerry Smith, Kevin Wilson, and lead Evelyne Franklin. Losing 28/12.
But it was still a great time with intermittent rain.
